Hello dear friends,
we are still enjoying the long beach days and the warm sunbeams, but soon it will be time to go back to work and to school!
A special highlight before the end of summer are the Fiestas de Sant Agustí, the popular festivities of the municipality of Felanitx, which celebrate Saint Augustus and start on August the 23rd. As always, we would like to recommend you our favourite event. On August the 24th starting at 9 pm you can admire different art exhibitions in several galleries and little shops around the city. It is worth to do a little route to the different places and to enjoy not only the art, but also the little delicacies that are offered everywhere. There will be music on the street to accompany the cultural evening. The exhibitions can be visited until October the 6th.
At the beginning of September, it is time for the tourists to go back home and also the locals move back from the coastal towns to the inland. Everyone goes back to work and a new school year starts as well. In Portocolom it is time to enjoy different kind of activities. If you are interested in shopping, we would like to give you some advice too. First, you should pay a visit to the boutique Es Cantó, which offers beautiful decorative items, as well as some special articles of clothing.
